The first felt in our sequence to have the horizontal aspect enforced by the addition of a lower border which is common among the later pieces, this too has the use of a different low land wool as do the four following felts. |

Prunus and Magpies on a reserved white ground drawn in a late Ming style. The "plumb blossom" design of a highly evolved nature was probably borrowed from ceramic art. There is a butterfly in the top left. |
