The wonderful lion-dog is surrounded with play things and seems to be in a state of free fall or may be gravity defiance. The corners of boxes with ribbons help brake up the space and add to the fluidity. This felt is bi-directional. |

This fragment has very crisp drawing. The elements in the broken border seem to depict the same subject matter as other felts in this early group. The red fruit is also on a white reserve probably represents abundance. |

Drawn in early Ming style. This felt has the most detailed broken border and curved corner panel, with wonderful glyphic elements ,at the top a seed sprouting ?in the bottom left the fungus of immortality or the Ruyi, wish-granting scepter which is modeled on the fungus.? Mid section ,rain clouds and measuring stick ? Above that what looks like a Mongolian character? The field Has the three friends design with fire fly's or bats, drawn in an energetic way.
